URL Link In Page Section Of Admin

Don't you hate when you make a page and you want the display to be off so it does not show on top, but you have to first make it go on top, copy the URL, then kill that one and link it? No more. I made this simple mode so that it will list the URL for each [...]

    Blocks no longer updating
    Posted by Shaklee3 (Friday April 26 2002 @ 11:08PM EDT) views: 448
Hi, I updated to .53 recently and now the blocks do not update. I can submit them and it gives no errors but they are not entered into the db. When I enter them manually in mysql it works fine. All the info in common.php.inc is correct. Anyone have an idea?

    apache 2 and php 4.2
Posted by stan rawrysz (Friday April 26 2002 @ 05:18PM EDT) views: 921
So I tried installing phpweblog 5.3.0 on a system that has apache 2.0.35 and php 4.2.0 running and while php and mysql and everything seemed to be working fine on with other scripts, I could not get phpweblog to submit stories, or setup properly for that matter.

    So [...]

Any way to include php in the Blocks?
    Posted by Shaklee3 (Friday April 26 2002 @ 03:40PM EDT) views: 509
I just wanted to know if I could make the blocks parse the php code instead of printing it, I wanted to convert my old site to phpweblog, but a lot of it has things like $imagedir/image.jpg because I have to move my image hoster around a lot. Any ideas? Thanks

Upgrade to 5.3 problem, any ideas?
    Posted by Adam-R (Friday April 12 2002 @ 12:53AM EDT) views: 553
Hello, I am using phpWebLog 5.2 right now, and am interested in trying out 5.3, however, I have a problem with the setup. I copied my existing DB and tried running the upgrade on it. I get through the entire setup process just fine, and then click to look at the site. The header and footer is there, but where the body is it says:
Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /path/to/testsite2/include/func.inc.php on line 146

I don't really know what this means, can anyone shed some light as to how to fix this?
    Thanks,
    Adam

    Moderator Security problem
    Posted by kev (Tuesday April 09 2002 @ 06:22AM EDT) views: 546
    Hi
I've set up a dummy moderator so I can see what features they have access to and I've noticed that mods can edit/kill blocks. That is something which I've already read about in another post, so no more explanantion needed there, however I have also [...]

How can I include other scripts like forums into PHP WebLog? If I add the index.php of - e.g. a forum as a new page, it works just fine for the frontpage, however - if i click any link the PHP WebLog design is gone and I'm on the pure forum sites which [...]

Posted by Jonathan Ah Kit (Monday April 08 2002 @ 01:52AM EDT) views: 579
Hi. It seems my weblog has unfortunately decided to ‘forget’ both my setup and admin passwords, after a few days of usage. It’s also lost my own user password; all three don’t work, and I’m sure [...]
