Bug or feature? Last modified timestamp
Posted under Development by quakesilver (---.mechanik.uni-duisburg.de) on Monday October 30 2000 @ 09:13AM EST
Development Is it a bug or a feature that the 'last modified' timestamp on the 'stories page' only shows the time/date of the comments, that where posted as main comments? The threaded comments are not taken into account. [...]

    Recent Top 5 Articles
Posted under Development by Big D (---.pinn.net) on Sunday October 29 2000 @ 08:35PM EST
Development As it stands now, the 'Top 5 Articles Block' gives the top 5 articles in the entire history of the site. If you want it to only get the Top 5 articles from the last week, month, year, etc just add this after line 58 in /include/blocks.php.

    $sql .= "AND [...]

    About ordering of sidebars
Posted under Development by Dmitry (---.n78.dip.aha.ru) on Sunday October 29 2000 @ 07:08PM EST
Development Man, you just need to add the priorities to sideblocks! Ordering by alphabet is not something people really want. I'll give you a short example. Well, I need to point people to my forums section. It's called Forums. Funny thing is that russian F is one of [...]

    New templates variable ($imagedir)
Posted under Development by jason (---.eyeintegrated.com) on Thursday October 26 2000 @ 02:22PM EDT
Development There was a problem with the templates and the images that they used. Some of the default template files had hardcoded img src="http://images.phpweblog.org/imagename.gif" tags causing sites that ran phpWebLog to pull these images from my server. The only [...]

    Polls suggestion
Posted under Development by Frank Pineau (---.chi.interchangedsl.com) on Tuesday October 24 2000 @ 10:20PM EDT
Development I was just looking at my site and it dawned on me that the poll box really looks bad once you've voted. The bars squash the text down and make it wrap horribly. I'd like to suggest that the bars be used on the full page poll, but maybe use percentage numbers [...]

    Using PHP-Pages with passing arguments?
Posted under Development by quakesilver (---.mechanik.uni-duisburg.de) on Tuesday October 24 2000 @ 02:43AM EDT
Development Hi, now with the pages stored in the T_Blocks table, I have a problem using php-pages with passing arguments. In the version 0.3.0 file location (/www/.../htdocs/page1.php) had to be specified. If I named this page "Showpage1" it was possible to use [...]

    Remaining anonymous
Posted under Development by Lenny Zeltser (---.nyc1.phoenixdsl.net) on Monday October 23 2000 @ 09:09PM EDT
Development Is it possible to let users remain anonymous when posting a story? I see an option for this in comments (stories.php), but not in contrib.php. [...]

    What about multiple moderators?
Posted under Development by Andy D (216.248.142.---) on Monday October 23 2000 @ 09:59AM EDT
Development I am using her for an intranet application, and I would like to give story moderation access to several department heads. It would be nice if I could give limited access to several users, without opening the whole thing up. [...]
