  • Alllllllrrriiiiggghhtttyyy! It's time to get bo
Posted under General by Susan Long on Saturday November 18 2000 @ 05:57PM EST
I have pretty much been ducking my head everytime I see/hear the words RDF/XML/RSS because I had enough on my hands at the time trying to figure out how to make everything work. I have now found, quite through accident, the mother load of RDF files on the internet. And now, I don't know how to include them on the site!

Now, I was a good girl and went back through all I could find on this site (phpweblog.org) that had to do with RDF files but there really isn't much posted here about that.

There were several that I wanted to include on my site and on the radio station site so now I feel like a kid locked on the outside of a candy store. Help?

Ack, I didn't realize the story titles got cut off so short. Here I am trying to figure out what it means to get "bo". =]

You should be pleasantly surprised (if all goes well) how easy this is. Simply add a block, RDF-type block, and enter the full URL to the RDF file on the site you are wanting to syndicate. phpWebLog only supports Netscape's RSS format.
By default, this block will be updated every 60 minutes unless you change the cache time.

http://www.moreover.com is a great resource for RDF content as well.

Yup, I figured out how to get them to work last night. I was determined to figure it out and if I didn't I was hoping for an answer today from you :-)

They call me a "rabid dog" at work. They say I sink my teeth into something till I either kill it, or make it do what I want.

    I hope I don't kill my phpweblog! ;-)

    Thanks for all the support!
