I know Twyst had something like this going before. Maybe a feature for the TODO-list?

Yep, I have this - it's similar to how the links system works, but I still have some bugs to work out.
The way I do it is this:
2 tables - ArtHead and ArtPage.
-ArtHead is the article title, category, author, and article ID.
-ArtPage is the individual pages, with page content, page title, any images, page number, and article ID.
This allows me to do stuff like article.php?article=1&page=3 , and pull up the appropriate page. It allows as many pages as you want, with images on each, as well as the ability to jump to whatever page you want.
The things I need to fix/change are:
-Admin interface needs work.
-Having unlimited images at top, bottom, or middle. (good for reviews, etc)
