reinstall with existing database?

Hello all,
I had a hardware failure, and now I would like to use my exisiting phpweblog site on the new machine. I have the sql database backed up, is there any trick i should know before I try to use phpweblog to use an already exising database, or do i just point it to the exisiting database and it will take care of the rest?

Assuming that the version of phpWebLog that was used when making the sql dump is the same version you will be installing, you should have no problems.
