  • How can I move the topics block?
Posted under General by Julie on Thursday April 19 2001 @ 05:09PM EDT
I want to move the topics block, the one that says:

    Topics:
    General
    Annoucements
    Dev. etc

I don't like where it is and I want to move it somewhere else. Where do I edit?

< Users and Themes | Different features? >

If you just want to switch sides, that can be done in the admin section of the site. If you want to change the order that the blocks appear, include/blocks.inc.php is a good place to start. If you want to move it to a completely different place, then you will need to edit more files. What direction are you wishing to go?

I am interessted too. My choice would be to move it further down ... like Old Stories or so

I want to move the block itself. Is there a way that I can edit the code so that the block would appear where I wanted based on a variable in the templates?

    thanks.
