  • New site and a little praise

I use phpweblog for a news site. Although I choose not to use a few "features" I'm curious about what direction phpweblog is headed. I'd hate to see it get boxed into a particular type of use because the added features detract from other functions.

Any thoughts on going down a different path, like "phpwebnews"? For example where comments are not enabled or the editor can choose which stories allow comments. Banner management intergration, searchable sub-pages (blocks/pages), sub-catagories for (blocks/pages, I currently have over 50 pages used as sub-pages). Thats just a few. Thinking about the possibilities is exciting. Of course I'm not having to actually write it. :)

Anyway, I've really enjoyed working with and learning phpweblog and look forward to it's future. Great work!

    Thanks again!
