    You are most likely using a template that is missing the $icon variable.
    Edit the template file (story.tmpl or summary.tmpl) and add $icon wherever you want the icon to display. (it automatically aligns to the right)

    Everything worked...why not add this to the documentation?

    But:
    where to add the $icon that it will show up on the start page?

    lets say I have a story for General-theme and my-theme on the start page (stories.php) with different icons?
