  • customizing zones - General

I'm using PhpWeblog as a beginner. I thought the caracteristic of portals was to offer zones every user could customize. Since I haven't found out how to do that, could you please tell me if this functionality really exists and if it does, how to manage it. Thanks :)

PhpWebLog is more of a WebLog system than it is a portal.
It's grown to be somewhat of a portal, but does not have the full functionality
    of a portal system.
