Block Columng Background color (feature request)
    Posted by James (Thursday January 02 2003 @ 04:58PM EST) views: 822 [ Development ]
Development I've been doing quite a bit of custom template work lately and I've come accross a few instances where being able to set the color of the cells the left and right blocks are in would be very useful.
Currently you can change the background of the blocks themselves in the template files, but you can't change the background color of the full column. As soon as there are no more blocks to print you are looking at the page background color.

I have changed line 60 in include/blocks.inc.php to include a background color which sets the background color all the way down to the footer. It would be nice to have a setting in the layout manager to set the left/right block background not just the width.

Anyway this seems to open up quite a few possibilites for making a phpweblog site look completely different.

    Keep up the great work!
