  • Unable to update URL block content.
Posted under Development by Nekrataal on Wednesday March 05 2003 @ 08:03AM EST

Development I've created a block that has some database interaction, type=URL, cache=0. I do include common.inc.php again in the beginning of the file to get the db connect. This block cannot be updated on days when the connection is rather bad but the rest of phpweblog still works fine.

    What happens:

Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at /is/htdocs/15221/www.gamersdungeon.de/__gdc__/phpweblog/include/header.inc.php:4) in /is/htdocs/15221/www.gamersdungeon.de/__gdc__/phpweblog/include/common.inc.php on line 394

But this is just a follow up error that occures when phpweblog tries to print an error message.

I have seen that the error message is reported in the error.log as "Unable to update URL block content." This error is created in F_getContent when the UPDATE of an URL block fails. The F_Error methods fails soon afterwards producing the above error message "Cannot add header...".

    Any ideas ?
