Turn off author IP?

I know there is a function under admin/config.php that lets you turn on/off show 'Display Hostnames'. But, even when I turn off 'Display Hostnames', authors ip is still showing. What to do?

If you are in admin mode, it will show IPs regardless. This may be what's happening in your case.
