    Hi everyone!

Im running the stable version 0.3.0. (cuz im a wuss) and was wondering what the syntax of the portal.php script was.. I know its like a forwarder to external URL's, but how exactly do I use it? :)

portal.php is used by links.php to redirect and track the number of hits to that link. For example:

    http://phpweblog.org/portal.php?url=http://www.freebsdplanet.com&what=link&item=26

This is a typical call to portal.php which would redirect to www.freebsdplanet.com. "link" is the type of redirect this is, and "26" is the ID of this record in the Links table (in the database).
