This is a help wanted for www.LinuxFutures.com
We're insane, but also interested in integrating discussion into a futures trading game.
It seems like the converse might also be interesting: maybe people could use their TuxNuggets accumulated in the game to pay for posting, moderation, ads, etc. They arent otherwise worth anything, and it would give people something to do with them.
The game market code is written in PHP/MySQL and can be found at
project UPmarkets on sourceforge. It
is incomplete, but it may have interesting snippets if you wonder what
www.LinuxFutures.com is doing.
Anyway, I'm looking for bored PHP coders to help out -- and also for
one weblog or other to become stable
enough to do this while still being compact and organized in code for it not to be a nightmare.
I got a lot of advice from one person
about slash, but slash requires too much resources. So I'm sitting, waiting and pondering.
