I've been toying with the idea of using HTML templates for the tables instead of using dynamic curve gifs. I'll explain how both work, and we'll see which is preferred.

Currently, the tables are pretty static. You have control of the border widths/color, background colors, text colors, and the option to place in these curve gifs to give the table a shouldering effect. (either left, right, or both). While this is neat, and it works for alot of desired layouts, the idea of letting the admin just use HTML and templates may be better for customization.

Basically it would be laid out similar to this..
You have a couple of different tables. Story table, block table, and other. These three tables would be editable as such:

You would have different variables to work with in the template such as $author, $date, $views $comments, $topic, $message. (something general like this)
Then you are given a textarea in which to construct your table in HTML and place the variables where you see fit. Of course a set of defaults be included. This same process would exist for all three type of tables.

Doing something like this is not trivial, so I wanted to see what you thought of something like this, or if it would ever be used at all.

I think that would be a great feature.
However, what is really needed is the ability to email the admin when a new article is up for moderation.

Also the ability to have different permissions so that I can assign moderator that will ONLY be able to verify new articles ad post new polls on the site.

Or have the ability to assign permissions to a certain password entered on the admin section.

Very nice idea. The current layout is not very changeable, so it would be a great option to self configure all html stuff... then I could easily use other languages (german because IÂ´m from germany)... When is it ready
